Two “pandas” are trying to stake out their territory in Singapore. foodpanda has accused competitor HungryPanda, which caters to Chinese communities, of infringing on its trademarks.
In its legal defence, HungryPanda said many F&B businesses use trademarks with panda images. And HungryPanda’s target segment is niche, the company shot back.
