Hong Kong university confirms Tiananmen statue removal
The statue commemorating those killed by Chinese troops in Beijing's Tiananmen Square had been standing in its campus since 1997, the year the city was handed back to China. The Danish artist behind it, Jens Galschiot, is appealing to take the 8m-tall sculpture back to Denmark, but says he has been unable to reach the university.
