Samsung, Micron warn Xi'an lockdown could affect memory chip manufacturing

The two firms are among the world's largest memory chipmakers. Micron said the stringent restrictions in Xi'an have resulted in thinner staffing at its manufacturing sites in the area, while Samsung said in late October it was running low on its NAND chips, almost half of which are made in Xi'an's two production lines.
