Covid has dealt a big blow to Asean but the region's economic outlook is bright
Analysts BT has spoken to say the region, despite being harder-hit than the rest of Asia, is growth-driven and has relatively cheap stocks.
HSBC, for instance, sees South-east Asia growing by 5.2 per cent, which translates to an earnings growth of 12.3 per cent for corporates.
