More own account workers in 2021, even as share of self-employed fell: MOM
Own account workers are self-employed persons who are not either employers or family workers. But the overall share of self-employed workers fell in 2021 as "the number of salaried employees increased significantly with more job opportunities amid the economic recovery”.
