Douglas Foo steps down from Singapore Manufacturing Federation presidency

Foo, who is chairman of Sakae Holdings, founded the Sakae Sushi chain of restaurants in 1997. He started as a council member at SMF in 2010, and has been the president since 2014.

He reached his three-term tenure last year, but sought reelection and secured it successfully on the basis of "legal opinions" that would "reset" his tenure count.
