At least 280 victims lose S$1.2m to phone call phishing scams
The scammers, who called from unknown numbers with a "+" prefix, would ask victims to identify them by saying "Guess who am I?" or "You can't remember me?", and then impersonate the name the victim might respond with, asking them to update their number in their contact list.
