F&B salaries up 20% in 2 years and set to rise further
Wages of commis chefs, waiters and captains range from S$1,800 to S$2,100, up from S$1,500 to S$1,700 in 2019.
Those of stewarding attendants range from S$1,500 to S$1,700, up from S$1,400 to S$1,600 in 2019. These increases took place from the fourth quarter of 2021 as the festive season approached.
