HDB resale market likely to stay hot but won't boil over in 2022
Despite the Dec 2021 cooling measures, HDB resale prices could continue to rise in 2022 — albeit at a slower pace because demand for resale flats is expected to remain resilient.
This latest round of revisions is also more conservative than the hard-hitting ones introduced in 2013, which triggered a 6-year price decline of 12.4 per cent from Q2 2013 to Q2 2019.
