Singapore to buy electricity from Malaysia for first time from second half of 2023
Local power producer YTL PowerSeraya will purchase 100 megawatts of electricity over two years from TNB Power Generation’s gas-fired plant in Johor, making up about 1.5% of Singapore’s peak electricity demand.
