#SGBudget2023: Higher marginal ARF rates for cars with OMV of more than S$40,000
The Additional Registration Fee (ARF) – a tax imposed when a vehicle is being registered – will be adjusted to better differentiate between higher-end cars. Luxury cars will also be taxed at a higher rate.
The changes will translate to buyers of cars with Open Market Value (OMV) of more than S$40,000 having to pay higher marginal ARF rates than they do today.
