Choose or lose your BTO spot: HDB tightens rules on flat selection
Applicants who decline an offer to book a flat at HDB's BTO or Sale of Balance exercise will be given a lower priority in subsequent bookings.
In the past three years, about 40% of applicants invited to book a BTO flat failed to do so – either by declining the offer or missing their flat selection appointment.
