VIDEO: Iswaran accepted items as ‘gifts from friends’, says lawyer; High Court grants joint trial

Former transport minister, S Iswaran accepted items from Ong Beng Seng and David Lum as ‘gifts from friends’, said his lawyer, senior counsel Davinder Singh. The high court granted his application to have all 35 criminal charges against him heard in a joint trial, on Wed (May 8).
