Tan See Leng: GRIT is sized to not “cannibalise” existing roles by preferencing fresh graduates

On Fri (Aug 22), Minister for Manpower Tan See Leng answered questions on the new government-funded traineeship programme for fresh graduates, GRIT and GRIT@Gov.

He reassured fresh graduates that the short timeframe of the programme is because the economic downturn is not as severe, but that the government is ready to ramp up plans should the downturn get worse.
