Singapore has one of the highest carbon taxes in Asia (S$45 per tonne), reflecting its vulnerability as a low-lying island state facing rising sea levels.
But for the rest of the world, carbon prices are vastly different - ranging from a whopping US$160 to just above US$0.70 cents.
Will this divide further widen in 2026?
