Singapore’s total fertility rate at new low of 0.87 in 2025
“Birth rates are falling at an unprecedented pace, and our population is ageing rapidly,” said DPM Gan Kim Yong. “The overall trend is also of grave concern. Marriage rates have come down. Those who are married have fewer children or no children.”
