📊 US Bitcoin ETFs make up to 15% of $BTC spot trading

Despite the hype surrounding spot Bitcoin ETFs, they only make up 10-15% of total spot trading volume, according to Coinbase's latest report.

According to CoinMarketCap, Bitcoin’s spot trading volume hit $29.5 billion in 24 hours. On Feb. 8 alone, 10 spot Bitcoin ETFs traded $1.3 billion, accounting for 4.4% of Bitcoin's CEX trading. 👀

The Coinbase analysts say there have been more important crypto themes emerging in the aftermath of the spot Bitcoin ETF, including the rising DeFi activity, which could “add meaningfully” to the value proposition for Ether. 🔮
