ChatGPT has been bustling with updates and announcements recently. This week, OpenAI introduced internet search and image recognition features in the Plus paid version on https://chat.openai.com/.

🌐 Web Search
1. What is it? ChatGPT can now access the web via the Bing search engine, providing current and credible information with direct links to sources.
2. How to activate?
— You need the Plus paid version;
— In the "Settings and Beta" menu, enable the "Browse with Bing" mode;
— Hover over GPT-4 and select Browse with Bing.
3. What's the outcome? ChatGPT is no longer confined to data before September 2021. It can offer real-time information about the weather, movie releases, or news. For instance, when asked about the "biggest AI news from the past week", ChatGPT highlighted the DALL-E 3 neural network launch and Amazon's investment in OpenAI's rival, Anthropic. We concur. 🌅 Image Recognition
1. What is it? ChatGPT has acquired the ability to analyze images. You can upload an image into the dialogue box, and ChatGPT will provide a detailed description and answer questions about it.
2. How to activate?
— The Plus paid version is required again;
— Select the GPT-4 version, an image icon appears next to the text input line;
— If it's not visible, try using a US VPN, it worked for us.
3. What's the outcome?
It's impressive! ChatGPT accurately describes the image and even discerned the emotions of our dog 😁 Furthermore, GPT managed to interpret handwritten text and answered all queries ❤️
