You can now create and train a digital assistant for a specific purpose on ChatGPT — called GPTs. Whether it's editing text or code, teaching your kids math, or learning board game rules — it's all possible!
💬 Creating one is as easy as starting a conversation, giving it instructions and extra knowledge, and picking what it can do, like searching the web, making images, or analyzing data. No coding is required.
ℹ️ How does it work?
The setup process is simple and user-friendly.
1️⃣ On the ChatGPT website, go to the 'Explore' section — where your GPTs are gathered — and select 'Create a GPT'.
2️⃣ Describe your specific purpose for a custom GPT — for instance, we chose to create a game guru for friends, who will help pick a fun game and learn the rules. Let's call it 'Group Games Guru'.
3️⃣ Add a brief description. GPT provides starter phrases to interact with the assistant. You can accept these or input your own.
4️⃣ Equip your custom GPT with unique knowledge and skills:
• upload files with essential information for the assistant;
• enable searching the web;
• allow image generation with DALL•E 3;
• add file recognition and data analysis capabilities.
5️⃣ Save and configure access rights: for personal use, for those with the link, or for everyone.
