🎨 Exactly.ai: A Platform Empowering Artists to Train AI Models with Their Art

Approximately a year ago, which feels like an eternity in AI terms, developers trained their models using whatever data was available in the public domain.

This practice contributed significantly to developing many of today’s leading AI models and services.

⛔️ However, there's a significant drawback to this method. Eventually, content creators such as artists, writers, and designers started to limit access to their datasets, recognizing AI's potential to render their roles redundant. This restriction led to a deceleration in AI progress, often mired in legal complexities.

Tonya Samsonova, the founder of Exactly, addresses this issue. Her previous venture, a Q&A service called TheQuestion, was acquired by Yandex for $10 million.

Exactly.ai presents an innovative platform for crafting customized AI models. Here, artists, designers, and illustrators can create AI models using a mere 10 of their works, provided they share a consistent style. They then can monetize these models by allowing well-known brands to access them. This arrangement permits brands to ethically generate and utilize distinctive images in the artist's signature style.

Tonya Samsonova notes, "There are 200 million visual content creators in the market. There's a high demand from brands for their work. Annually, companies invest $11 trillion in image production. Many of these skilled creators are skeptical of 'all these computers and internets'. I recognized a potential opportunity here."
