Swarovski, a company globally renowned for its crystals, has released the AX Visio binoculars. The binoculars can recognize most species of birds and many animals.

What is the audience?

👀 Birdwatching is a hobby that is gaining popularity globally. Observers spend much time outside studying various bird species, analyzing their behavior, and learning to identify them by their songs. Today, there are more than 30 million birdwatchers worldwide.

How does the binocular work?

⚙ The binoculars use a model trained on data from the Merlin app to identify birds and GPS data. The library contains information on 8000 different species. To recognize, point the binoculars' "sight" at the bird so that the object occupies as much space as possible in the field of view.

🍏 Swarovski has also launched a mobile app for processing photos and videos captured with binoculars and live streaming.
