Downtown los angeles прийняв miжнародний фестиваль ai кіно від runway
🎬 Downtown Los Angeles hosted the International AI Film Festival, organized by AI video startup Runway, for the second time. Notably, the festival is supported by major cinema institutions such as the Tribeca Film Festival and the Geneva International Film Festival.
🥇 The surreal movie "Get Me Out," which follows a Japanese immigrant in the United States, won the Grand Prix. Daniel Antebi, the film's director, has created five short films and released his debut feature picture, "God's Time," in 2022. The award includes $15,000 and 1 million Runway credits. The film's visuals were developed by the artist Visual Frisson:
Al is letting me create complex visuals I would never have been able to before.
🎬 Anyone could apply to the festival. The film's runtime should not exceed ten minutes. Using Runway's products was optional, as was the complete generation of the video using AI. The organizers recommended that candidates respect the copyrights of other artists.
❗ This year, 2,500 applications were filed, up from 300 last year.
The evaluation criteria included film composition quality, storyline coherence and artistic message, creativity, and the usage of AI. Judges assessed each movie on a scale of 1 to 10; the highest average score determined the winner.
Where can you watch the participating films?
The festival's website features movies by the winners and nominees. Gala screenings took place in both New York and Los Angeles.
🍿 Watching the finalist movies will take roughly 90 minutes, making it an excellent way for film aficionados to spend an evening.
