😎 What Are AI Agents?
NVIDIA's CEO Jensen Huang recently mentioned that AI agents will soon learn to plan multi-step solutions for complex problems. They will have privileged access to information and will interact with other AIs to perform virtually any task. Here's a simple explanation of what AI agents are.
AI agents are autonomous AI-based programs capable of solving tasks without human intervention and communicating with each other.
🤫 How AI Agents Work
The difference between an agent and a language model (LLM) is that an AI agent does not need an initial human prompt. For example, if you need to plan a trip considering all factors, a team of AI agents will communicate step-by-step to solve the task based on predefined conditions and instructions. The user will receive a ready-made travel plan. The more AI agents there are and the narrower their specialization, the more accurate their work will be.
💲 AI in Business
One of the main prospects for AI agents is the creation of entire self-governing departments. Digital employees can work 24/7 and perform their tasks accurately.
🎮 4 Main Components of AI Agents
➡️ LLM
➡️ Tools: internet search, code execution
➡️ Memory and access to databases
➡️ Reflection and self-criticism
ℹ️ Types of Agents
→ Simple: limited to responses without considering the context.
→ Model-based agents: predict the consequences of their actions.
→ Learning agents: learn from their experiences to improve performance.
→ Utility-based agents: make decisions to maximize results.
→ Hierarchical agents: work together to achieve a common goal. Each agent performs its task and reports the results to a higher-level agent. The high-level agent gathers all results and coordinates the work of subordinates to ensure the goal is achieved.
