🔖 Save the Guide: How to Recreate a Song on Udio?
Udio is an AI-powered tool for creating songs from text descriptions and a key competitor to Suno AI. Udio lets you overlay your own lyrics onto any melody.
How Does It Work?
1️⃣ Log in to the Udio website and upload a song in .mp3 format. The upload icon is located to the left of the Create button. Specify the style of the original track in the prompt field.
2️⃣ Enable the Crop and Extend slider to trim the melody. Keep the first verse and chorus.
3️⃣ Select Write Lyrics and add new text for the verse and chorus.
4️⃣ We recommend setting the following parameters:
• Prompt Strength and Lyrics Strength: 80%;
• Clarity: 1%;
• Generation Quality: Ultra.
5️⃣ Click Extend and wait a few minutes. Two versions of the song will be generated.
If the lyrics don't sync well, tweak the settings from Step 4 and adapt the words—add stress marks and remove punctuation as needed.
