💻 ChatGPT's Interactive Canvas Got an Update
The OpenAI development team has announced an update to the Canvas for interactive work with code and text.
Canvas Now Can:
⚫️ Run Python scripts directly in the ChatGPT interface—multiple libraries, console output, and graphics rendering are supported;
⚫️ Suggest ways to fix bugs in the program and comment code (example on the video ⤴️);
⚫️ Work better with text. The bot can, for example, comment on your essay as if it were read by your professor.
In addition, Canvas is now available to everyone, not just paid subscribers. Custom GPTs will also get Canvas support, and the editor can be added to existing bots as well.
🎁 This was the 4th of 12 "shipmas" OpenAI's stream. Last week, the company introduced the full version of the o1 reasoning model and Pro mode, and yesterday, it introduced the Sora video generator.
