🤩 EvieAI, a medical chatbot that won't mislead you
AI-generated responses frequently lack credibility due to their tendency to "hallucinate." However, this flaw has been addressed in the new medical chatbot, EvieAI, created by Movano, the developer of the smart Evie Ring.
EvieAI's knowledge is limited to a database of approximately 100,000 medical articles and journals. When providing answers, the bot cross-references information from trustworthy sources like the Mayo Clinic, Harvard, and UCLA.
EvieAI achieves a 99% accuracy rate by confidently saying "no" or "I don't know" when necessary—unlike many general-purpose assistants. For instance, EvieAI won't answer political queries because it recognizes its lack of expertise in that area.
"And I think sometimes, with the other tools out there, they're gonna answer one way or another, whether it's right or wrong. We're just only gonna give an answer if it's right," says Movano CEO John Mastrototaro.
🤩 The creators emphasize that EvieAI cannot replace a doctor or make diagnoses. Its goal is to act as a consultant, ask clarifying questions, and provide users with reliable information.
The beta version is currently available exclusively to Evie Ring owners.
