👐 OpenAI Released o3-pro: The Startup's Most Powerful AI Model
OpenAI claims that according to expert feedback, o3-pro outperforms o3 in all domains, including writing, data analysis, coding, and scientific and educational tasks.
➡️ In benchmarks, the model didn't advance much compared to o3, but it got closer to the preview version Sam Altman showed in December 2024.
➡️ Meanwhile, early testers report that o3-pro is indeed much smarter than o3 and o1-pro. However, to reach its full potential, the model needs a lot of input context—otherwise, o3-pro tends to "overthink."
➡️ The model is already available in Pro ($200/month) and Team subscriptions, replacing o1-pro. OpenAI has also significantly reduced the cost of the basic o3.
