❤️ New AI Platform Finds You a Match Based on Your Browser History
A new AI-powered dating service called Browser Dating will find you a match based on your browser history.
When registering, you need to install a browser extension that downloads your search history and uploads it to the service. AI algorithms analyze up to 5,000 of your search queries and website visits to select candidates with similar interests.
You can search for matches worldwide. The profile has no photos or additional information, only age, location, and gender. The developers promise complete confidentiality: user data is processed locally and is not sold to third parties.
Users cannot see each other's browser history either; they only receive their browser personality profile and a summary of fun and interesting facts to help start a conversation. For example, the service would tell you that you both often stay up late browsing the internet, have searched for East Asian recipes many times, and enjoy reading about black holes.
Unlike most dating apps, where people often try to present their ideal image, the new service provides a more realistic portrait of a person, says Browser Dating founder Dries Depoorter. "There's honesty in that," he believes.
The free version offers a maximum of 5 matches, and a one-time fee of €9 grants unlimited matches.
Are you ready to share your browser history to find a partner?
❤️ — Yes, great idea!
🔥 — No, that's too personal...
