🎤 ChatGPT Record: Meeting Recording and Summaries by OpenAI
The new Record Mode in the ChatGPT macOS app allows the assistant to record all audio from your computer, including calls on Zoom, Google Meet, and other platforms.
The maximum recording length is 120 minutes. After the session ends, ChatGPT sends a transcript of the conversation along with a short meeting summary. You can also ask the AI follow-up questions or attach extra files and context.
With the launch of Record Mode, OpenAI enters direct competition with services like Otter.ai and Fireflies.ai. Most of their key features are now available directly inside ChatGPT, no separate subscription required. Niche startups in the meeting assistant space may face a serious challenge.
