🍿 "Mountainhead": A Black Mirror for the AI Industry

From Jesse Armstrong, creator of the cult series Succession, comes a biting satire about four tech billionaires who retreat to a snowed-in house in Utah for a weekend of power games. Their rules: no staff, no deals, no women—just cranked-up toxic masculinity, banter, and poker (which they never get around to playing that weekend).

The richest of the group unveils a new video-generation model on his platform Traam. Soon, the world is flooded with fake political "statements," riots break out, and while the friends sip wine in the mountains, the globe descends into chaos.

The ski resort turns into a crisis bunker: should they pull the plug and admit failure—or keep the release rolling and let the world bear the fallout?

Convinced of their divine status and even doubting the reality of other humans, the quartet plots world domination, buying entire countries, and building a techno-fascist utopia with immortality for the rich.

"Yeah, I mean, dude, you know, you build the great AI—and then let the AI do everything else," says Jeff, one of the four billionaires, with a net worth of $59 billion.
