🤩 Qwen3-Max: A Free Rival to GPT-5 from China
Alibaba just introduced its top AI model, Qwen3-Max, which has 1 trillion parameters. It quickly ranked 3d on LMArena, beating GPT-5-Chat in blind tests.
Benchmarks show the basic version of Qwen3-Max outperforms the previous Qwen model by up to 1.5 times, especially in coding and agent tasks. It also does better than Claude Opus 4 and DeepSeek-V3.1.
🏆 The Qwen3-Max-Thinking (Heavy) uses step-by-step reasoning and Python tools, scoring near GPT-5 Pro and Grok 4 Heavy. Still, it hasn't been released yet.
