🎨 FLUX.2: A competitor to Nano Banana Pro

Black Forest Labs has launched their new AI image editor, FLUX.2, in several versions:

➡️ [pro] offers performance on par with leading competitors, but is faster and cheaper.
➡️ [flex] gives developers full control over the generation process.
➡️ [dev] a reduced model with open weights at 32B parameters, runs on a single RTX 4090.

A fully open source version [klein] will also be released soon.

💰 FLUX.2 [pro] slightly trails Nano Banana Pro in tests, but also delivers up to 4K quality and is nearly five times cheaper.

💻 "Under the hood," FLUX.2 combines Black Forest Labs' image generator with the visual model Mistral-3 24B, enabling the neural network to "understand" real-world context.
