Fate Dating, a new AI-powered London-based dating app, replaces swipes and questionnaires with an interview with an AI. An assistant asks what you're looking for in a relationship, what's made dating difficult in the past, and the kind of partner you want. The algorithms analyze not only your answers, but also emotional cues and voice tone to later suggest people with a higher chance of compatibility.

More than 70% users today complain of "fatigue" and even "burnout" from online dating. The founder of Fate Dating, Rakesh Naidu, 28, insists that, unlike Tinder and other platforms, their algorithms do not rank people based on their photos and profile descriptions, but only use the "interview" data to find people with similar values.
