🦜 Parrot Bebe Becomes a Submariner and Takes the Internet by Storm

His owner, Steven Loyer, built a mini-submarine out of a paintball tank, an oxygen sensor, and lead weights, and called the contraption the Bebosphere.

Loyer explained that he and Bebe love to go snorkeling together, so he decided to give his parrot an underwater adventure of his own. According to him, six-year-old Bebe had a great time.

What's more, this isn't Bebe's first extreme adventure: the parrot has already accompanied Loyer on 15 skydives, riding in a transparent capsule strapped to his owner's chest.

🗯 But, as always, the internet is divided. While some people are charmed by the parrot in a submarine, others question whether Bebe really had a choice. Popular TV host Stephen Colbert even joked that headlines about the parrot explorer's ocean adventures could be replaced with "Confused Bird in a Bottle Would Really Like This to Be Over."
