🤖 A Robot-Only Hotel Will Open in China

The hotel will operate on an artificial island in Guangdong Province. It will have 44 luxury rooms, a restaurant, a gym and other functional areas. The maintenance staff will consist of robots developed by Pudu Robotics.

"Robots will be deeply involved in every part of hotel operations, with no service gaps and no human interruptions," says Pudu Robotics co-founder Guo Cong.

Androids will stand at the reception, check in guests, help with luggage, clean rooms, deliver snacks and drinks, and monitor security. The robo-staff will exchange data through an AI platform.

⏳ The hotel will be operational in test mode by the end of the year.
