The castle is located on a rocky hill with a height of 70 m, and is surrounded on three sides by the Elzbach River. Eight towers with a height of 30-40 m are located around an internal oval courtyard in the Romanesque style. The architecture of the towers is diverse - from romanticism to Baroque.
