One of the main natural attractions in the Namibian National Park Namib-Naukluft.

Surrounded by the dunes of Sossusflei, the clay basin is located at the bottom of a dried-up lake and is famous for the petrified trees of the camel acacia. It is covered with a layer of salt and clay, from which the roots of trees stick out, as if frozen by gusts of wind.
