Bagan myanmar ancient city of thousands of temples

The ancient city, which is located in the northern part of Myanmar, 140 kilometers southwest of Mandalay near the modern city of Nyaung-U. 

Bagan is an amazing and eclectic sight: the temples are built of limestone, sandstone, marble, with tiles and underground galleries — and each is at least somewhat different from its neighbors.
