Bled is a mountain resort in northwestern Slovenia near the Austrian border. 

🔶A small town of the same name is located around a lake of glacial origin. A picturesque island with an old chapel in the middle of the lake and a medieval castle built on a rock at the beginning of the 11th century give it a special charm.
