Tuvalu is an archipelago of five atolls and four islands. The tiny country has preserved its identity, ethnic traditions and cuisine. 

Tropical plants, coral reefs, aboriginal tribes and stunning nature attract not only tourists, but also researchers.

The National Research Council in the United States has predicted that by 2100 the ocean level will rise by almost 1.5 meters due to climate change. If this happens, the corals surrounding the island are in danger, and Tuvalu itself may disappear altogether.
