Moray eel prometheus has hidden second set of jaws in its neck

Look deep into the eyes of our friend 'Prometheus', the yellow-margin moray. Morays are predatory eels which are found in shallow coral reefs and brackish waters all over our blue planet. A unique feature of these snake-like bottom dwellers is their second set of jaws which is hidden in their neck. The eels use it to hold on their prey and to transport it further down into their throat. It somehow reminds on H.R. Giger's Xenomorph (known from the 'Alien' films). Probably he got inspired by nature 😜
