Зустріч з гірським козлом в національному парку північних каскадів

RENEE HAHNEL shares an encounter with a majestic mountain goat in the North Cascades, a national park located in Washington State, USA. 🇺🇸

"Always stay a safe distance from wild animals and never feed them. This mountain goat kept coming down the trail near us but we would move off the path so he could safely pass. He was just being curious and not showing signs of aggression. These close up videos are significantly zoomed in, fyi." 🐐

"He was looking for some pee to lick. 😅 Seriously though, mountain goats will travel miles to find salt to supplement their diet, including smelling out all the spots humans have gone to the bathroom outdoors. 👀"

Since human urine is packed with salts and minerals, mountain goats are known to persistently seek this in their diets! Did you learn something new today? 💡
