American Dipper (Cinclus mexicanus)

North America's only aquatic song bird.
You can find these cute little birds along the waters of the Merced in Yosemite. Distinguishable by their bobbing movements and means of foraging by sticking only their head underwater, or fully submerging and "flying" to the bottom. 💚
