Liriope tetraphylla jellyfish are absolutely tiny with red or green gonads
ଳ JELLYFISH RODEO ଳ
Liriope tetraphylla, are 10-30mm/0.3-1.1in wide, so are absolutely tiny! They have marginal tentacles, a manubrium, and gonads that are generally red or green in colour!
The manubrium is the longer central appendage you can see, and at the end of it is the jellyfish’s mouth!
The little octopus 🐙 who is catching a ride is a paper nautilus octopus, and it is thought that they use the jellyfish to protect themselves from predators!
