Hairy squat lobsters rare ocean creatures in indonesia

A sharp, keen eye and a bit of patience is sometimes all it takes to be rewarded with a sighting of some of the ocean’s most unique and unusual creatures. Although fairly common in Indonesia, hairy squat lobsters are rarely seen — they are very small (less than half an inch long) and blend in really well with the textured ridges of the giant barrel sponge on which they live.🦞🪸
