Leatherback turtles hatch together scuttling to the ocean using moonlight

When it’s time for tiny leatherback turtles to crack the egg, the hatchlings do so at virtually the same time! All together they scuttle down the beach — navigating their way to the ocean using the reflections of the moon and stars on the water.
