The Island of the Birds, formally known as Genovesa contains hundreds and hundreds of birds from red-footed boobies, frigate birds, mockingbirds, and among others. One of the less common sights is the nocturnal lava gull which is one of the rarest gulls in the world and it’s also endemic to the Galapagos Islands. ⁠
