Ribbon eel часто зустрічається на мілководних коралових рифах

"The ribbon eel is a small and colorful moray eel species which is frequently seen in the shallow coral reefs of Indonesia. Most of the time you just see their heads swinging in the current while the rest of their body is hidden in the sand. For me, it is always funny to watch them and wait until they start to do those weird moves with their jaws. The black color of the juvenile males turns into blue once they are grown up. On the other hand adult females are just yellow. It is thought that they can change their gender (and thus their color), however, this hypothesis is not proven yet."
