Hammerhead sharks have a wider visual range due to their head shape

Thanks to the shape of their head, hammerhead sharks have a better visual range than most other sharks. They are found in temperate and tropical waters worldwide 🌊

Most hammerhead species are pretty small and considered harmless to humans. The great hammerhead's size and fierceness makes it a bit more dangerous, although very few attacks on humans have been recorded 🦈
