Who needs to see a baby cuttlefish?? 🥰

"About six months ago I found a punch of cuttlefish eggs. In the following weeks I visited the nest on a regular basis. At the beginning, the embryos were still totally white. However, after a while the first pigments in their skin appeared. And soon thereafter the embryos were already able to change the size and color of these pigments. I witnessed the development of the cuttlefish's most fascinating skill: the shape-shifting! One night, one of them hatched in my presence. After sitting in the sand for some minutes it disappeared in the dark... heading towards its first big adventure. Farewell lil cuttlefish, I hope we meet again when you are a grown up!"
